Do you still have an old OV-chip card that you no longer use because it has expired or because you check in and out with your debit card? Then go to ov-chipkaart.nl/check and ask for your balance back.
- Expired OV-chip card: If your OV-chip card has expired, you can still reclaim your balance up to 5 years after the expiration date.
- Still valid OV-chip card: Even if your card has not yet expired, you can reclaim your balance. For example, if you now check in and out with your debit card and you no longer use your OV-chip card.
- Business card: Do you have a business OV-chip card? Then request a refund of the balance via your employer.
Within 15 days, the amount will be deposited into your account. So, what are you waiting for? Request your balance back and don't leave any money lying around!
